About us

Columbus, founded in Berlin in 1909, is the oldest extant manufacturer of globes in the world. We recently expanded our business to book and non-book publishing for which we seek international partners, both in buying and selling products and licenses. Our claim is "The World's Finest Globes, Maps, and Books". One of our key assets is a cartographic database, fully digital and multi-lingual. Products range form a well-known world almanac to classic and thematic atlasses, childrens' books and non-book items such as wall maps and puzzles.
